Kyocera Ecosys Service & Warranty Information

Below we have listed the warranties for each Kyocera printer.  All information below was gathered from Kyocera documentation which we deem reliable and accurate to the best of our knowledge.  PC&L is not responsible for any inaccuracies.  We did have Kyocera review this information and that that time they said the information was accurate. The warranty is from Kyocera-Mita America and is their responsibility.  PC&L is an authorized Kyocera Service Center and we have been servicing Kyocera printers and copiers for 17 years but we only provide on-site service with in our service zone.

If you purchase a Kyocera printer from us and are outside our service zone we highly recommend you purchase a warranty upgrade from Kyocera or from 3rd party for your printer. Your local Kyocera or Copystar dealer may not perform any warranty work on printer they did not sell you and may bill you for their time and parts even though the printer is still under warranty.  All this information is shipped with every printer we sell.  

Kyocera warranty information and warranty upgrades:

Kyocera Desktop Mono Laser Printers:

FS-1320D  (37PPM desktop printer), FS-1320DN, FS-1370DN

Standard Warranty:  1 year or 100,000 (which every comes first) parts and labor return to depot (to us). 

FS-1320D & FS-1370DN The drum, developer and fuser has a 3 year or 100,000 page parts warranty (labor not include after one year)

Maximum Duty Cycle:  FS-1320D/ FS-1370DN 20,000 printer per month

Recommended volume: 2,000 per month

On-site Warranty Upgrades from Kyocera

Upgrade warranty to 1 year on-site  ..$129.00

Upgrade warranty to 3 years on site $299.00

On-site Warranty Upgrades 3rd Party

Upgrade warranty to 3 years on site $199.00

FS-2020D and FS-2020DN  (workgroup mono printers)

Standard Warranty:  1 year parts and labor return to depot up to 600,000 prints providing a maintenance kit is purchased at 300,000 pages.  Labor to install the kit is not included in the warranty.  If you purchase one of these models from PC&L and it is placed in service in the red area of our service zone then we upgrade the warranty to one year on-site. 

Maximum Duty Cycle:  FS-2020D 150,000 printed per month, 

Recommended max average volume per month: FS-2020D 20,000 per month

Ecosys Warranty of imaging system:  a-Si drum, developer and fuser unit 3 years or 300,000 prints.  After the first year labor to install in not covered under the warranty.  If a maintenance kit is installed every 300,000 prints the warranty is up to 1,800,000 prints during the 3 years from the purchase date. Labor to install the kit is not included in the warranty.

If you purchase one of these printers from us and are outside our service zone, it is recommended that you purchase an on-site warranty upgrade.

FS-C5150DN, FS-C5250DN, FS-C5350DN & FS-C5400DN  Color Laser Printers

The FS-C5100DN, FS-C5200DN, FS-C5300DN, FS-C5350DN and FS-C5400DN have a one-year warranty from Kyocera.

Upgrade warranty to 2 years on-site Kyocera  ..$400.00   

Upgrade warranty to 3 years on-site Kyocera ...$800.00

Upgrade warranty to 3 years on-site from 3rd party  ..$699.00

FS-9130DN & FS-9530DN

 The FS-9130DN and FS-9530DN have a one-year warranty from Kyocera . It is recommended that you purchase a on-site warranty upgrade if you are outside our service area. 

Upgrade warranty to 2 years on-site from Kyocera ..$419.00   

Upgrade warranty to 3 years on-site from Kyocera...$838.00

Upgrade warranty 3 years to on-site from 3rd party $649.00

This is for the printer only.  Any extra paper feeder or finisher/stacker would have to be added to the agreement (call for pricing). Any options for the FS-9130DN and FS-9530DN should only be installed by a technician who is certified on this printer.

FS-C8100DN Color Laser Printer

The FS-C8100N has a one-year warranty from Kyocera   Kyocera does not offer nation wide service on this printer.  We only sell this printer in our service zone.   If are interested in this printer and are outside our service zone you should call a local Kyocera-Mita or Copystar dealer.

FS-1035MFP & FS-1135MFP

The FS-1035MFP & FS-1135MFP have a one-year depot repair parts warranty from Kyocera . Labor is not included.  It is recommended that you purchase a on-site warranty upgrade if you are outside our service area. 

FS-C2026MFP, FS-C2126MFP, FS-2626MFP

The FS-2X26MFP  have a one-year depot repair parts warranty from Kyocera . Labor is not included.  It is recommended that you purchase a on-site warranty upgrade if you are outside our service area. 

PC&L service zone for on-site warranty service covers from Beaumont, TX, north to Austin, TX, west to San Antonio, TX and south to Galveston as our service personnel are located in Houston TX. 2 and 3 year on-site warranty upgrades are available in our service area for these models and is the same pricing as posted for the Kyocera warranty upgrades..
