Kyocera is releasing the
new FS-1035MFP/DP and FS-1135MFP to replace the FS-1028MFP/DP &
FS-1128MFP. The two
new models are much faster at up to 37 black and white letter
size pages per
minute, 7 PPM faster than the models they are replacing.
Other new features incorporated in the new models include an
optional card authentication kit and the USB interface for
direct printing and scanning has been moved to the front.
A new LED light source for scanning uses less energy. Duplex (two sided) copying and
printing is still standard on the new models.
The FS-1035MFP/DP features network and local printing, digital
copying and scanning in color or black and white. The FS-1135MFP
has all the same features but also includes Faxing (standalone
and desktop).
The document processor is standard for both models and is a reversing feeder that
copies front and back allowing for duplexed copies. The new
FS-1035MFP/DP and FS-1135MFP comes with 256MB of memory that can
be upgraded to 768MB.
Standard paper input is 300 sheets and can expand to 800 sheets.
The document processor will hold 50 sheets of paper.
Both the FS-1035MFP/DP and FS-1135MFP feature a low cost of
ownership with a cost per page of about 1 cent per page. These
new models are based on the very popular FS-1370DN printer and
feature the same small footprint.

upgradeable to 3 years on-site.
