  Printer
cost and waste comparison between Kyocera and HP Compare
waste Take
what's left of an empty Kyocera Ecosys TK-60 container (on the left)
and stomp on it or cut it up with scissors and it will fit inside a
zip lock bag, with enough left over room to add a sandwich. On
the right the dissected HP C-4127X Cartridge won't fit in the same size
bag. Keep in mind that you would need two of the HP cartridges to
print as much as the Kyocera TK-60, this is only 1! The
weight of the Kyocera waste is less than 1/2 pound, the spent Hp
cartridge is over 21/2 pounds. The empty TK60
container is also designed to be incinerated where it will turn into
harmless water vapor. This results in no waste!!
Amount
of cartridges to produce the same amount of printing from 5 different
printers (from left to right :
Kyocera FS-3700+,
Xerox Docuprint 4517,Lexmark Optra S1650,
Hewlett-Packard Laser 4000 TN, Brother HL-1660e)
